Helen Cooper and I represented Legalpeople at the 15th annual ACC America (Association of Corporate Counsel, Houston Chapter) Ethics Seminar & Golf/Spa Event held on Friday, March 28th at The Woodlands Resort and Spa. For the second year, Legalpeople served as the Beverage Cart Sponsor at the golf tournament in the afternoon, following Stuart Teicher’s presentation on “The Fear Factor: How Good Lawyers Get Into Bad Trouble.”

The presenting sponsor for this well-attended event was the law firm of Jackson Walker LLP. The event chair, Will Williams of Sparrows Offshore LLC, and the President of ACC – Houston, Sean Johnson of Nexen Energy ULC, put on a well- organized and fun filled program for in-house and outside counsel. We caught up with many old friends and made some great new acquaintances during the course of the all- day function on a warm spring day in this beautiful master planned community just North of Houston.
